The Divisions of Hematology/Oncology at Stroger Hospital of Cook County maintain a large clinical service and have anextensive research commitment, predominantly in clinical studies. Activities include:

HEMATOLOGYONCOLOGY

  • 656 Inpatient consultation per year
  • 2 Clinics/week Malignant Hematology
  • 1 Clinic/week Benign Hematology
  • 1 Clinic/week Hemophilia
  • Interdisciplinary patient planning conference
  • Surgical Pathology conference

  • 1037 Inpatient consultations per year
  • 9 Outpatient clinics, 1 for HIV
  • Tumor board, weekly
  • Interdisciplinary planning conferences Lung, ENT
  • Breast, GI, GU
