| Description: |
Even though evidence based medicine is incorporated into the curriculum of most internal medicine residency programs, the principles and skills are rarely integrated into residents’ day-to-day clinical activities. This survey of generalist and subspecialty academic internists at the eleven training programs in the Chicago area assesses their feelings about the hype, promise, and practical value of evidence based medicine and its relative priority compared to other training goals. |
